mojo rising
Howdy ya'll. So what's been happening? Any of you participate in Blog Action Day? I love Kelli's post on this subject. I also forgot to mention our front loader washing machine, uses less water than top loaders.
I finished my Wasp bag with some alterations to the handle treatment. A nice quick sew. Snuck in after work here and there and finished over a week and a bit. The birdie patch I bought from Lisa eons ago and it's been sitting in the stash waiting for the perfect project.
What else? Ummm job changes again, but that's for another time when it's not so fresh, everything's good just more change. I turned 36, had a really lovely birthday. The Son spoiled me rotten, we had breakfast with friends where I was also spoiled rotten by my lovelies, went to the movies and out for dinner, lots of fun!!
I also have a couple of new crafty equipment additions that I'm pretty excited about. You'll hear more about these in the next couple of weeks. I've started thinking and planning for Christmas. Looking forward to hosting in our home. By mid November the new kitchen will be in, very exciting. Expect more foodie posts.
Listening to the current ABC's "Like a Version" CD, loving The Magic Numbers take on Beyonce's "Crazy in Love".
Happy crafting!

Happy belated birthday!
Consumer Reports claims that the front-loading washers and pretty much any of the most recent washing machines that are supposed to be energy efficient don't get clothes nearly as clean. What a waste! I'll stick to my old top-loader.

Welcome back! they say change is good... :-) best wishes on the kitchen reno, just remember to keep breathing in and out.
I have a front loader and I think it is amazing. I want the new Boch one that has a 15 minute cycle next. The bra wire that is rattling around inside the current one will take car of that soon I am sure :-) and Happy Belated birthday, you are catching up to me.
