Buttoned up!

 

I recently won some vintage buttons on ebay, about 1kg worth! After going through them all, washing and cleaning them, removing any threads etc I pulled out my favourites. For an idea of scale the top right yellowy looking button in the left image is about 4.5cm wide and the top left green button on the right image is about 4cm wide. Though that "button" has an unusual clasp like a clip on earring but a bit more fierce. I think it's a coat clip. So I now have a colour organised box of buttons...more monsters?
